Red Lips
I love red lips!!!
I have been on a mission to find the perfect red lipstick for my NC 30 skin tone for about two year now. I have tried soooo many and while some of them look really nice it’s not the color that I want.
THIS IS WHAT I WANT!!!! Granted Lauren is a bit lighter then me so her red is more of a fire engine red and the second red is a darker richer red. I want them both but i just keep running into reds that are too orange or too pinky. It’s really annoying. I have tried Max Factor, L’oreal, Make Up For Ever, MAC, YSL, NYX, Guerlain, Chanel, NARS, Illamasqua, Giorgio Armani, Kat Von D, Clinique, NYC, Wet N Wild, and a lot more brands than I can remember. I have tried EVERY red lipstick at Sephora. I am not even exaggerating. I had like three people helping me with this at the store. I can not seem to find this color. I beginning to think it only exist in my head. My inspiration for the color is a rose petal.
You might be asking yourself “why don’t you mix two colors together and make the color?” I don’t think i should have to. I want one lip stick with maybe one lip liner. That is all. I don’t think i should have to mix three different lipstick with two liners and a gloss to achieve the color of a freaking rose! I know I’m not the only person who has looked at a rose and said “That would be nice on my lips.”
Sorry I get a little upset when I think about how ridiculous this is.
At this point I don’t even care how much this color will cost me. If the color exist i will find a way to buy it.
I just bought a YSL one yesterday. Rouge Pur Couture #14. I am going to try it out for a while and then I’ll write a review about it.
I will probably make a video reviewing all the red lipstick I have currently because no one want to read that much info about red lips :-)
